The driver amplifier:

The final amplifier has a TH327 tube. Since we are using the tube bejond the frequency specs ( max 1000 MHz ) and since the tubes we use are "pulls", we expect a power gain between 6 and 8 dB . This means we need quite some drive, to feed this beast.

So, i need between 300 and 500 watt of drive, to come to my desired output power.

Following is the construction of a stand alone driver amplifier, capable of + 500 watt.
